Shifting Outlook

Seriously, though. I've seen what we American artists have been doing TO comics lately for the most part (nothing all that inspired for the most part), and I've seen French comics online (modern not classical, untranslated mostly) and what they're doing FOR and WITH comics art, fantasy, and sci-fi-wise, and there's really is no comparison. Moebius is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a whole army of mini-Moebiuses in France, seemingly unaware of the importance and raw power of their artistic talent. I share certain art motifs in common with the comics illustrators of that country. The Blacksads and Enki Bilals. Japan's a great market, but it's gotten CROWDED. You want to make it big in JAPAN, get in line pal! You want to make it big in France, well why didn't you say so messier!
