Florida historically speaking has a VERY racist history. Blacks were denied basic human rights and kept as slaves which was part of the Southern Florida Confederacy's Way. As a matter of fact, desegregation didn't even happen until a hundred years later, when a man named Martin Luther King took an active part in [JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SOOOOO.]
