They don’t teach you this in school, because people go out of their way to spoil children and ruin the youth of this nation, but if you’re in the 99% of the population, and you live a NORMAL life, you DON’T GET what you want. Don’t think of it as a song lyrics. It’s so much more than that. Think of it as a widely known fact about circumstantial living.

For the most part, the majority of people, nearly all people are sitting around WAITING for shit (stuff they simply ASSUME is good shit) to happen. And for the most part, people don’t get what they want. Namely, sex, respect, control, influence, confidence, charisma, a job, a house, good family, normality, money, fame, power, peace, and quiet. Chances are none of these things will EVER come to you, especially if you’re the hypercompetitive type who cuts everyone off in traffic and tries to find other ways to cheat to get ahead.
